Introduction

This particular blog page of mine is to full fill my course assignment for SKBP 1023-Language and Information Technology. It is rather a different approach of blogging I'm taking on here as compared to my previous blogging experiences. Basically, what is to be expected from here is just as stated in the description of the title for the blog page, 'The tracing steps of literature undertakings'. It is my second semester as an undergraduate taking English Literature. Language and Information Technology would be one of the many courses.

This course shows much encouraging signs concerning computers and technology in education that I was previously not as aware of it. It is becoming increasingly popular for educational technologists to advocate integrating computers into the content areas. Teachers and administrators are recognizing that computer skills should not be taught in isolation, and that separate "computer classes" do not really help students learn to apply computer skills in meaningful ways. To enlighten and help students discover what one can actually learn in their everyday use of computer and its technology is an important shift of approach. Whether it be from playing games, using electronic mails or simply browsing through web pages to search for information; these daily applications contributes to language learning directly and indirectly. To show this through the course is also another way of enabling students to make full use of the information technology available to them.

Since this blog serves as a platform for us to carry out the task at hands, the content will be filled with something that is more informative than personal.
